Chapter Thirty Two

ALEXANDER’S POV

It’s been a week since I last had an argument with Helena. She has deliberately locked herself up in her room for the past seven days and only come out to get what to eat when I am gone to work. I had to call Maggie to resume work after the first few days of our argument because Helena has refused to come out and even when she finally does she wouldn’t talk to me. She was giving me the silent treatment which was killing me deep down. I felt like thorns were plunged into my skin, piercing my body every single time I tried to make things right. It wasn’t my fault that all of this happened anyway but she had to make me suffer for the sins of my mother. I had still had to make sure I put all protective measures in place just to make sure she is safe even when I am away for work just in case she wants to out on her own or something. She isn’t allowed to go out on her own but I know Helena too well, once she’s resisted from doing what she wants she would tag it as being cage
