I cringed and took an involuntary step backward,"w..w..work r.. right..h...here..in...y..your... house?" I stuttered, staring from him to his house, he torments me in school, barges into my room whenever he feels like it, made me get fired in my previous workplace and beat my colleague there to a pulp and now he brought me to work in his house, that'll definitely be the end of me, his eyes narrowed as he stared at me, he took two strides and stood right in front of me,

"I thought you wanted to work", I stared at him again and then at his house,

"Yea...b..but not here in your house"

"Where then?" He asked, he sounded pissed already and God knows that's the last thing I needed right now,

"A... any place, where I can work and earn", he suddenly did the unexpected, he threw his head back and laughed out loud, this is the first time that I have heard him laugh, my eyes widened in surprise, did Mr grumpy just laughed? And I was the one who made him laugh? I suddenly felt trepid
