Chapter 48: I can't stand her

"So, she is the she-wolf who you have the heart for?" I said sadly to Christian. As he carries me to the large bed; covered in a fluffy sheet and two white pillows.

Christian said nothing, continuing to carry me.

"I may not be strong enough, but I can walk on my own to the bed," I told him as I jump from his arms and starts to walk towards the bed.

"I have no problem carrying you to the bed," Christian told me from behind.

"I'm fine now," I answer him as I melancholy sat onto the edge of the bed and lower my head, staring at the smooth shiny brown floor.

I wanted Christian to leave the room now, I wanted him to, so badly; after seeing the she-wolf he had at his home, looking stress-free and taken care of and too dwelling the life I so badly wanted with him.

Staring at the floor for minutes. I slowly moved my head sideways and saw that Christian was still within the room. He stood still not too far from me gazing at me as if he was lost.
