Chapter 46

He went into the man's study after he knocked. The room looked more like a weapon room than a study room. Weapons hung on the wall, swords, bows and arrows and many more. A table and chairs sat at the centre of the room, just the way it is in official offices. Tom was sitting on a chair and his glasses sat on his face, he was reading a book that Jake had no idea what it was. Jake walked in and the man asked him to have a seat, and he did. After he sat, there was silence for a while before Jake spoke.

"I am ready."

Tom knotted his brows and looked up at Jake.

"Ready for what?" The man asked.

"For the declaration. I am ready to be declared Alpha." Jake replied.

The man did not speak for a long time but he agreed with Jake. Tom further told Jake that the declaration was going to happen the next day. After this confirmation, Jake stood up and bade the man farewell then he left. He went back to the house.
