TRAINING

His paws kept hitting the ground heavily and his furry body swerved past the trees, crushing the grass in a harsh manner. The grunt of other exhausted wolves could be heard and he made sure his ears were perked so as to pick the sounds of the nearest animal that he'll pounce on. This is their first running training since Alex's coronation and he felt alive for the first time after his sister's death. Not like he had always felt better before then.

Alex went past tall trees lined in a symmetrical form and silhouetted against the glaring moon that blasted its full light on them, his body carrying him as fast as he can. He jumped a huge rock and blocked a big brown wolf, gritting his teeth in a daring manner, but the brown Wolf was fast enough to put a stop to its running hind legs, gathering dust, and turning right to escape his wrath.

He kept moving but this time following another road which is on a tall mountain overlooking the forest and stream. He could see the shadows of the others
