As Hunter approached the forest which served as the entrance of the Dark Edge pack, his body swayed weakly with erratic steps. He felt his vision blur multiple times but the savage wolf was determined to keep moving in that specific direction as if his life depended on it.

When he finally succeeded in entering the forest, a sense of fatigue suddenly washed over him, causing his body to collapse on the ground, as his limbs gave way underneath him. His pitiful form slumped against the trunk of a nearby tree, his skin marred with cuts and bruises, soaking in blood through his torn clothes.

As his low and unsteady breaths echoed throughout the forest, Hunter's senses were overwhelmed by the scent of the pine and damp earth where he rested. He closed his eyes and recalled how he had gotten this badly injured but the details were very unpleasant for him.
