Giselle stormed out of the alpha's house with a furious expression, heading towards the lake hidden in the forest at the back of the house. When she finally got to the tranquil shore of the lake, she screamed into the silence of the night to release her pent-up emotions in an adrenaline-fueled fury. The sudden sound echoed through the trees and across the water before it returned to the normal tranquility leaving only the sounds of her harsh breathing.

She stared at the clear lake water below her, reflecting the starry night of the sky like a mirror, and kicked a stone into the lake to disrupt its still calmness. The stone skipped a few meters on the delicate surface before it finally sank into the bottom of the lake.
