The next morning, the pack was bustling with activities along with low whispers about what had happened on the night of the Joyous Moon Festival. Anna woke up with a splitting headache so she held her head and rolled to her side only to feel a warm flesh underneath her fingertips.

Her eyes instantly opened as she jolted out of bed the next second, deserting the white sheets that once covered her body. Her mind was filled with dread staring at an unknown stranger's back, she fervently prayed to the moon goddess that her fears would not come real but all her hope shattered when the man slowly turned to face her.

Anna collapsed on the carpet when she saw Kodiak's eyes looking back at her, his eyes wandering her naked body heatedly before he quietly got up from the bed.

She wanted to say something to him, but how could she do that when she had no memories of them ending up like this? The last thing she remembered was her kissing him during the ritual and then...nothing. She had no idea
