Augustus said and Avi nodded, lowering his head a bit he bowed. I watched, fists clenched, heart beat louder, fingers tightening around the shawl he had me wrapped in. His thick, lean fingers clasped in front, eyes staring at me now and then. He was busy, but I was still on his mind.
