Charia's PovA week later------------------------------------All the staff in the company ran helter-skelter, their heads down and no one answered any of my questions. Alpha Ryder's POVI was running mad once more when I noticed that scent. 'Not here Ryder, Not here' I had told myself. I was in an important meeting and smelling the mystery girl wasn't even the right choice. It was just going to make me lose all focus and concentration. This was not the right place or right time to fantasize about her again. Her scent registered to my nose and was getting me crazy, how is it possible that I can smell her here once again? I brought out an inhaler from my breast pocket. Emily handed me one when I complained about having the wrong scent. She made it with her sweat and throughout the week it had helped me smell her instead. I put the inhaler in my nose and breathe in Emily's scent. Alpha Ryder's Pov_______________"That's good news, Alpha Ryder" Peter burst out laughing when I joined him in my car at the parking lot of the company and told him what just happened inside. Of course, I missed the elevator part. He insisted that he looked for Charia instead and bring her to my feet, but I hesitated. Charia wouldn't tell me the truth about her mission. Neither would she give me any clue, but by sharing my scent with her, in a few days, she would be so restless that she has to look for me. This time around, I'll put her in a desperate situation where she would have no choice but tell me the truth.But I was giddy like a baby, recalling what happened at the elevator. Charia's Pov____________________ My wrist was tied with a band, where it was hurting, where Alpha Ryder's claws had pierced, but taking the pain aside, I walked to the front gate of the first Wolfenstein mansion, I was wearing an overall gown, one of Zara's dresses and I tied a scarf too. I didn't know what I was thinking when I dressed but I had the intention of not being recognized by anyone.I walked up to my father's guard and removed the veil on my face. Charia's POV________________I knocked on the door when I got back to Zara's place. It was so late in the night and I deliberated on knocking, so as not to wake them, but on the first knock the door opened. Ice stood in front of me, his face in a deep frown. Charia's Pov______________________It took a whole lot of courage to throw my office shirt into the washing machine. The cloth smelled just like him, it reminded me of the intimate moment we had in the elevator, his body on mine, and how he shared his scent with me.
