The moment Delphi walked in front of Dwight to protect him from Alpha Ryder. I froze. I knew it was a lot to handle seeing that her mate was the wild wolf, but we needed to bring Dwight down by all means. We needed to handcuff him in his wolf form, we needed the evidence to be out in the open, and we needed to cast out wild wolves for the sanity of other werewolves in the city. Delphi was going to ruin a lot of things if she became emotional.

"Don't touch him, Ryder!" Delphi growled at Ryder.

"Delphi, please stay away from him" I tried to reach out to her but she only snarled at me. Her fangs coming out of her teeth and her face was in anger.
