Surrender

Liam was gripped with dread at her outburst. He gaped at her with his mouth wide open, unable to close them as he was in shock.

He didn't know what came over her. He had thought she was okay with not being marked. They had been married for four good months and she had never raised the subject. So her motive for bringing this up needed to be fixated on.

He had not marked her because he just couldn't. They had gotten married, she was his luna, but if he marks her then their soul becomes bound, she becomes his true luna and if she ever betrays him then it could be the end of him.

Though his excuse of it not being the right time was feasible in some sense. However, the major reason Liam had not marked her was because he didn't trust her. His marriage happened so fast, her pregnancy followed suit, it was as if his life was in a rush when they had a whole eternity to look forward to.
