Chapter Forty Four

Amanda updated Elvis about what was happening. Kris, Amanda and Anita went to the hospital. On their way to the hospital, Anita silently prayed that all these should be a mere dream. She doesn't know how the feeling will be if the result turns out to be positive. She was so scared of even thinking that the People she has known and loved as her parents are not related to her. She just prayed that the result will turn out to be negative.

At the hospital, blood samples were taken. They were told to come back in two days time. Anita was so disappointed. She thought that the result will be out the following morning. She really wanted to confront her parents with the result if it turns out to be positive.

She sighed and asked the doctor whether he can make the result to come out faster. The doctor replied negatively.

They all went home. Anita returned to her house while Amanda went to visit Elvis because she was missing his touch so much.
