SITTING on the pallet, Aleja looked up and watched how the moon, together with the stars, illuminated the sky. It's past three in the morning but Hypnos has not visited him yet. Maybe because he's thinking too much, insomnia is attacking him again.

Inside the prison, his eyes were always wide-open as he stared in emptiness. Doubt filled his head as he wondered whether he would keep fighting or give up.

He would always wonder why he would pursue his desire for freedom and justice when the person he expected to believe in him turned her back and left — with his best friend.

He loved the girl and she loved him back. However, when things go wrong, she chooses to trust someone else rather than her own boyfriend. He could only wonder if what he was doing made sense or if he needed to stop crashing into the wall.

The flesh of his mind was tangled.

Men should not cry, that's what they always say, but could he cry now while no one sees?
