"See you tomorrow."Christine said cheerfully.

"You too."She dropped the call and tore of the piece of paper she had wrote on before stuffing it in the back pocket of her jeans.When she turned she walked straight into Max's broad hard chest,she could feel his hands on her arms as he steadied her.Her heart skipped and began to race,she met his formidable gaze and wondered if she'll ever get used to his nearness and what it does to her insides."Sorry."She mumbled.

He wonder who she had been talking to."Don't be,you didn't know I was here."

"When did you get back?"

"Just now."He searched her gaze."What are you doing in here?"

"I needed a pen and paper so I came to check in here.I'm sorry for entering your private space without asking."

"It's okay Adriana."She stepped out of his arms.

"Let me go and prepare dinner."She was at the door when he spoke.

"There's no need I already ordered food.Go freshen up."

She joined Max a few minutes later in the dining room the table has already been laid
