9. Friendship

"Are you okay?" asked Ara while examining Aranjo's entire body.

"Yes!" replied Aranjo. Then she got up from her bed and sat down on the bed.

"When and how did you come back?" asked Ara.

"I don't know! Ah ... maybe thanks to the help of my new friends!" Aranjo continued excitedly.

"Friends?" asks Ara, unsure of what she heard.

"Little bird and demon with gray-colored hair!" Ara explained enthusiastically.

After listening to what Aranjo said, Ara believes the child is dreaming. There was no living creature in the mist forest and there was not a single creature in the sky realm with gray hair other than the Emperor.

Ara didn't care how Aranjo could return to the Pavilion, the important thing was that this time Aranjo was fine. Ara is sure it looks like Aranjo is protected by the Guardian of the Fog Forest, of course because Aranjo is a good girl.

"Don't come out of the pavilion for the next few days!" ordered Ara.

She was sure that the Wind Goddess did not expect Aranjo to return so quickly and without any injuries. Of course that was the reason for the wind Goddess daring to send Aranjo to the forest of fog, but Ara was also unsure if the night God would stop his wife's actions.

The days seemed very slow for Aranjo who was not allowed out of this pavilion. Ara has installed borders on the doors of the Pavilion.

Aranjo who felt bored sat dreamily on the floor of the pavilion. Sayup-sayup Aranjo heard a festive musical accompaniment. Aranjo jumped to her feet and ran to the window plugging her ears. It seems like there is a wedding and Aranjo is eager to see the crowd.

Aranjo opened the window, Ara only sealed the door not the window. Aranjo jumped out of the pavilion window then ran and climbed a tree beside the high wall surrounding the night God's residence.

Aranjo looked outside the wall and as he thought there was a cavalcade carrying a bridal palanquin. Aranjo climbed the wall and jumped out of the residence of the night God. Aranjo is very good at climbing trees and jumping, his daily life is always spent climbing trees alone.

Aranjo followed the motorcade silently and the motorcade stopped in front of a very magnificent residence, more magnificent than the main residence of the night God.

Aranjo again climbed the tree that grew in front of the wall of the luxurious residence and peered inside.

A luxurious palanquin is placed in front of the main door and some enter the residence. Not long after, the servant who had entered came out with a very dark face and then opened the curtain of the stretcher and said something.

Then the stretcher was lifted back to the exit gate and the motorcade came out of the residence without playing any more music. Isn't there a wedding? Aranjo felt very disappointed.

Inside the residence, the Archer God, The Emperor gazed out the window to see clearly Aranjo who climbed the tree behind the wall of his residence and peered inside.

Although the Archer God, the Emperor was known as a heartless God or a cold-hearted God, it did not stop the intention of the Goddesses to try to propose to him.

Even though the proposal is always accompanied by a wedding party, just in case he is willing the wedding party will be directly implemented. But until now none of them have succeeded and all applications are subtly rejected by the waiter which is very tiring.

The emperor used his magic power to create the illusion of a brightly colored butterfly. The butterfly flew around Aranjo and certainly attracted her attention. Aranjo chases after the butterfly and jumps into the luxurious residence.

Aranjo ran after the butterfly that flew into the backyard. The butterfly entered one of the rooms in the backyard. Aranjo followed the butterfly and entered the room.

Aranjo searched the surroundings but did not find the butterfly again. Aranjo looked around the room where she was at the moment.

This room is a reading room full of scrolls neatly arranged in a tall wooden cabinet.

"You like to read?" asked the Archer God who entered the reading room.

Aranjo jumped in surprise and turned around to see the origin of a very familiar voice.

"Friends ...." exclaimed Aranjo and ran to the Emperor.

"You like to read?" asked the Emperor back while avoiding Aranjo.

"Love it ... I really like to read it!" Aranjo replied enthusiastically.

The emperor walked past Aranjo and continued walking to the back of the reading room. Aranjo followed him by running equalizing with his long stride.

The emperor opened the door at the back of the reading room. When the door opened, Aranjo peered and jumped in delight when he saw what was in front of him.

Beautiful garden with a warm water pool in the middle, very spacious and beautiful, peach trees grow a lot in that yard. Aranjo ran around the park took off her shoes, and immersed her tiny feet in the warm water.

"You can come at any time; please read all the books in the reading room and soak as much as you like," the Emperor said.

Aranjo stared in disbelief at what the demon had just said.

"Really?" asks Aranjo wanting to make sure again.

The emperor did not answer him but turned and walked back to the reading room where he had earlier read. The warm water pool has the ability to restore the body and magic for those who soak in it.

Originally, this pool was the only one in the celestial realm and it was in the courtyard of the celestial Emperor's residence, not all gods or goddesses could freely soak there. By his power the Emperor moved part of the pond to the courtyard of his residence.

Aranjo took hold of her shoes and ran after the demon back into the reading room.

The Emperor stopped in front of his desk and pulled out an hourglass using his magic. Aranjo busily put her shoes back on and looked at the hourglass that the demon had placed on the table.

"Remember to turn this hourglass upside down when you arrive and make sure you return to your place when this hourglass runs out!" the Emperor said as he turned the hourglass upside down and walked away from the reading room.

The hourglass has the power to slow down time and after the hourglass runs out the power also disappears and time returns to normal.

Aranjo stared at the demon's departure for a moment, then looked at the hourglass and remembered all the demon's messages. Then Aranjo began to examine each scroll of the manuscript and she was very happy that all the manuscripts were very useful from literature, medicine and witchcraft.

Aranjo took some scrolls and sat on the chair of the reading table and started reading the scrolls. He learned many new things, and it expanded her knowledge. Aranjo didn't forget to keep looking at the hourglass and when the hourglass ran out, Aranjo immediately ran back to the pavilion after tidying everything up again.

When she returned to the pavilion, Aranjo checked the time and she only left for half an hour when the time spent in the Reading Room seemed very long. Aranjo is really happy to have a friend with great magic power.
