033. I wasted my time trailing him, just when I think of giving up, something occur to me.

BECKY’S POV

The taxi driver followed the red vehicle to a guest house situated just at the outskirts of the city. The gate opened to reveal a magnificent, state-of-the-art hotel with massive, marble walls.

The driver pulled into the parking lot a few rows behind the trailed vehicle. I needed to follow him discreetly, thank God I came with my heavy shades and I just fixed my hair over the weekend.

I looked over to the meter reading at the other edge of the taxi. A hundred and thirty nine dollars; that was a whole lot cheaper than the cup of martini I downed some minutes ago. Intentionally, I asked again.

“How much is my bill?”

“According to the meter, a hundred and thirty dollars.”

“Do you want me to give you a hundred and thirty dollars? Or would you do more work and I pay you ten times your fare. No hassle.”

“As long as it helps the country.” He was feeling very patriotic. I hope God would forgive me for using this man like this.
