TYLER'S POV

I sat in the living room for three hours, waiting for any sign of Becky. The room was silent and I could feel my patience wearing thin. I got up and walked over to the door, pressing my ear against it. I strained to hear any sound from the other side, but the room was deathly quiet. I knocked lightly, but there was no response. I began to worry - had something happened to Becky? Was she alright?

I pulled away from the door and stood still, trying to decide what to do next. Then, I reached for the doorknob and turned it. The door was still locked, and I realized that I would need the spare key to get inside. I raced to the television stand, where I knew the spare key was kept, and grabbed it. As I rushed back to the door, my heart was pounding in my chest. What if something had happened to Becky? What if she was hurt?
