Dionne’s POV: I come back downstairs with Xavier and the boys are laughing and they go quiet when I step into the living room. “What’s funny?” I ask. “Nothing. I wake up to sunlight pouring in through the blinds and the curtains. I stretch and something tells me to look over at the door. It’s open. I get up and I put on a shirt and pants, and I walk down the hallway, looking for anybody who might’ve opened the door and I can’t find anyone. “What are you doing, Dionne? You’re just being crazy.” I whisper to myself. I turn around, my eyes closed, and when I open them, I bump into someone. “Someone’s in a rush.” Liam says, grinning down at me. “Fuck off.” I say, rolling my eyes at him and starting to walk away. Me and Xavier get back to the house and Liam’s lying back on the couch, holding an ice pack on his face. I can’t see the damage, but I know its bad. A doctor walks out the door and Kayno walks up to me and starts to speak before Xavier shuts him up. “I don’t care about what that doctor said. He deserved what he got.” He says. Xavier’s POV: It’s been a couple minutes since Dionne hung up the phone. I go downstairs and I see the boys sitting on the couch laughing about something, like always. I walk into the living room, peeking in, and I don’t see Dionne. “Did Dionne come in at all?” I ask, puzzled. “No, not that I know of.” Zeno says. “I haven’t seen her.” Kayno says. “Me either.” Mark follows. “What the hell?” I whisper. “Why, what’s going on?” Zeno asks. “Is something wrong?” “I’m getting that feeling, and I hate that it’s about Dionne. I hope she’s alright.” I say, worrying. “I’m sure she’s okay.” Mark says. “Don’t say that. I mean, I’m hoping his gut’s telling him the wrong thing, but Xavier’s intuition is right every time he feels a way.” Zeno says, looking at Mark and Kayno. “Something’s not sitting right with me.” I say, thinking this whole thing over. I get a call from an unsaved number and I cautiously pick it up. “Hello?” I say. “Is this Xavier Foster?” a woman says on the other side.

When I wake up, its morning. I’m lying in an empty bed, and my door is closed. Why aren’t I dead? I could’ve sworn I pulled that trigger. I get up and I go to the door, trying to open it, and it’s locked from the outside. I start to wiggle the doorknob and it suddenly unlocks and opens. I look up, and Z’s standing in front of me, a frown on his face. I look away, not wanting to look back at him. “Are you … “ he hesitates to finish his sentence and then shakes it away, sighing. “Why’s my door locked?” I say, plainly. “We broke the door down and stopped you before you could pull the trigger, but before we could get you out of the room, you were putting up a fight, trying to get back to your gun. You’d drank a whole bottle of whiskey and you were clearly and obviously drunk.” He explains, a frown still stretched across his face. Dionne’s POV: I’ve been stuck in this room for a little less than 24 hours. People have been bringing me food and water to keep me alive, but I’ve been isolated for a while. Isolation has been my biggest fear for a long time, especially now that I’m being forced into it in an unknown place. As I sit in the corner of an empty room only lit by a fireplace, crying softly, I hear the door open. A man built like the one I saw yesterday walks in and I look up, tears streaming down my face. “Cheer up, doll. We’ll have fun.” He says. “I’m not your doll.” I retort. “She’s fiery. I love you even more.” He says, chuckling. “So how is Xavier? He doing okay? I haven’t seen him since … well, back then. Best friends, we were.” He says, pulling up a chair in front of me, smoking his cigarette and puffing the smoke into my face. Xavier's POV: We got a location on Dionne, so we're on the way there now. My heart races as I pull up in front of my best friend's house. I get out and Z gets out with me, and we make our way to the front door. When we're inside, we check downstairs for any sign of her, and there's nothing. My stomach slowly drops as I realize I might never find her. I look over to Z and he looks back at me with concerned eyes. "Z, what if we never find her here?" I ask, my hands shaking. "Xavier, we still need to look upstairs. Don't lose hope just yet." he reassures me. I nod my head and we go upstairs. Z looks on the right side of the hall in the rooms, and I look on the left side. I back away from the room I just checked in, and suddenly, I hear a door open and footsteps running. I look up the hall, and I see a small woman with brown hair running down the hall with something that looks like a shirt in her hands. As she gets closer, she becomes clearer to me. It's Dionne. 6 weeks later Dionne's POV: Xavier's still pissed about what happened with me and his best friend, Blaire I think it is. Yes. He's still upset. I've been trying not to think about it, but things have been awkward between us. We haven't been talking at all, and when we're with the boys, we only talk to them, but never each other. The problem here is, our pride is too strong to come up to each other and try and make it better, and we both know that, which is why I don't ever think this is going to end. I sit in the living room, wearing one of Xavier's hoodies because whether I like it or not, I miss him. His scent and his warmth. Oh, that's right. I forgot to mention that we've been sleeping in separate rooms too. They're right next to each other.
