Dionne's POV: Xavier's been downstairs for hours. I don't know what he's doing, but I don't really care. Christine starts crying in her crib in her nursery, so I get up and I pick her up and I try to rock her back to sleep, but she's still whining. "Probably needs to be changed." I whisper to myself. I put her on her changing table in her crib, and I get a diaper and baby wipes to change her. "God, you stink." I say, smiling and scrunching my nose. When I finish changing her, I put it inside a diaper disposal bag and I go downstairs to get rid of it. When I get downstairs, carrying Christine, I throw away her diaper and I get a bottle of water, then I go upstairs without looking over at Xavier. I finish getting dressed and I go downstairs and there's no seats next to Xavier, so I look around and there's a free seat over by the girls, so I walk over to them and I sit down, all of them with beers in their hands. 6 weeks later Xavier's POV I sit in bed while Dionne's in the shower and I play with Christine, poking her stomach and kissing her cheeks. She smiles a big smile at me and I pick her up and she sneezes. She feels another one coming so she breathes in sharply and lets it go, then does it again and sneezes in my face, making me laugh and jerk back a little. "Bless you, mi amor {my love}." I say, kissing her face. "You need a bath and a hair wash, baby." I say to her, running my fingers over her little head, holding it up with my other hand. Dionne gets out of the shower as I lie the baby back to check her diaper. "She okay?" Dionne asks, walking to the bed to smile and kiss the baby. "She just needs a bath, and daddy's gonna get her one." I say in a high voice. I go to the bathroom and I run a warm bath for the baby, sitting her baby bather in the bathtub to sit her in it. Dionne's POV: After Mom and the boys leave, Mark and Riley agree to keep the baby for a while for us. I tell them how to fix her bottles and I give them directions to where her onesies, diapers, and baby wipes are, just in case they need them, and me and Xavier go upstairs, shutting and locking the door behind us. I take my clothes off to get in the shower and I catch a glimpse of my stomach in the mirror. "Wow. It's like I never had the baby." I say, turning to analyze every angle. Xavier comes behind me, naked, and he puts his chin on my shoulder, wrapping his arms around my stomach as he sighs. "You think Christine would act out if she had another sibling .... or three?" "Three?" I scoff. "No way am I pushing out three more babies just for them to come looking like you." I say jokingly."Besides, Christine gave me enough pain to last a lifetime." I wake up in the morning in an empty bed. Christine's still asleep, or else she'd be whining in her crib. I slip on a shirt and I walk out of the room to find Xavier's office door closed with light coming from beneath the door. I walk in and he has a pained expression on his face. "Xavier, what's the matter?" I say, walking behind his desk to sit on his lap. He doesn't say anything as he sits there, staring off. "Xavier, you can talk to me, I promise." I reassure him as I rub his cheek, standing next to him. He suddenly starts crying, making me walk in front of him to straddle his lap and hug him back. "Let it out baby. Let it out." Xavier looks at me blinking back anger, but he can't keep it in as a lethal look paints across his face.
