Gabriella patiently waited for Diego to come back and much to her disappointment; he didn't come back until night. Gabriella contemplated within her before she decided to tell him the truth.

"Are you better now?" Diego asked as

Gabriella winced at his reply before seating back on her bed staring into space without replying to Diego's questions.

"One morning like every other day, my dad left home for work. He said he would be back in the evening" Gabriella started as Diego sat himself on the cushion patiently listening to whatever Gabriella has in store for him.

"But he didn't come back," Gabriella added as she chuckled.

"He didn't come back the second day or the third day or the fourth or the fifth day. He didn't come back a week later or a month later or two months later or half a year later and even one year later and even years now no one knows where he is" Gabriella muttered.
