Chapter Sixty-Six

We'd just gotten out of the cinema after watching the 'Little' movie. It was fun to me but a tad bit lame to them and I couldn't care less, it was my birthday, not theirs. My day, my choices.

Cas was speeding down the highway, we were on our way to Quilox in the sexy range brand while Zizi typed away furiously at his laptop from the back seat. The car's windows were tinted and it was about nine pm.

And then it occurred to me.

I'd picked up an orphanage flier I'd gotten from the mall, I was going to give a birthday donation to them.

I'd taken out fifty of the hundred thousand Naira loverboy had given me for the hotel stay.

What if I hadn't met Cas? Would I be homeless now?

"Cas could you stop at that POS vendor please?" I asked and he shook his head.
