I was so excited for her; my aunt, Danilo's mother and myself stayed in her room while her make-up artist did what she knew how to do best on her face. Chapter 61Aurora's POV It's my birthday, another reminder that I was getting older and my life was filled with lies that could destroy everything good I had with Matteo. I stayed put on the bed and stretched out, my mind whirling with several thoughts. The door made a creaking sound and pushed open causing my eyes to flash open. Chapter 62Aurora's POV "You look so beautiful," Aunt Giselle commented as she helped me with my make up and I couldn't agree less. "I didn't know that you were this talented, you should make a career out of this," I suggested, enjoying my new look. My wild auburn hair had been packed into a slick bun with some strands at the front curled to give me an innocent look. My make up was subtle and charming and so was my dress; a flowing turquoise blue dress with a halter neck design. It suited me perfectly, hugging every curve that I possessed. Chapter 63Matteo's POV I checked my phone for the umpteenth time, wondering why Aurora and Sofia hadn't reached us yet. Giselle and Angelo who left after them were already at the hotel waiting for the party to begin. Angelo approached me, one of his hands dipped in the pocket of his pants. "Why aren't they here yet? Chapter 65Matteo's POV I watched her shoulder droop while I passed her punishment. I wanted to make her suffer for trying to kill me, but I wasn't sure that I could. Then it dawned on me that I loved her and I couldn't hurt her, but maybe the love would disappear because our relationship was built on lies.
