"NISHANE, you have a visitor," Mirae said when she knocked on my office door. She peeked in to tell me that. I just nodded and continued what I was doing.

A few moments later, Hanz entered my office. He was smiling but I read sadness in his eyes. I stopped what I was doing and smiled at him. I stood up and met him.

"Why did you come here just now? You haven't tasted my cookies." I don't mean anything else by that thing. I just really want him to feel that I'm sulking and Mirae because he doesn't go out anymore.

"Ah, I was just busy. Actually, I just stopped by to give it to you." He reached for a paper bag.

Even though I was surprised, I still took it from her. "What's this?"

"It's a custard cake. Mom baked it. She wants you to taste it. I hope you like it." Hanz seemed shy and couldn't look at me directly.
