CHAPTER 33: Verge Of Death

I had a terrible first day. Despite not having done anything strenuous, I feel really exhausted. I avoided lifting anything heavy. Throughout the day, I didn't use any energy on completing my chores. However, my mind is drained. It was very taxing. When I went home, I hardly spoke at all. I'm too exhausted to talk.

Clifford just let me feel that, which is unpleasant. He didn't even look at me once the entire time I was working. He turned me over to the team manager and the heads. He never even said hello to me.

I had numerous conversations with managers about the company's operations. Who founded it and how it got its start. How the company is run and what will lead to its failure. All of that I discovered in a single day. But when I arrived at the estate that day, I had forgotten everything. One of my talents is that. All the information I need to remember is simple for me to memorize, but it's also simple for me to forget it.

Clifford irritated me so
