Chapter 38: Peril

A flash of light followed those words and where it was, stood a being that could be considered divinity, radiating immense light that restricted Visage of him. Wings pale as snow folded behind his back.

Lucifer glanced at the light and gritted her teeth, she knew just who the man was and how powerful he could be when it came to it. She cradled baby Aqiel and glared daggers at the entity.

“Michael, one of the four archangels what are you doing here?”

Michael grinned, and clapped his hands at Lucifer's ability to recognize old faces. “Lucifer, I see you haven't changed since back then have you? Now as for why I came here, where's Shizuki.”

“I figured that was your primary objective, it's not everyday the strongest Arcangel descends down to earth from his heaven...” Lucifer replied taking a short pause, a smirk gracing her face. “But what you seek, I cannot offer you.”
