Poseidon POV

As I was enjoying my first meal of the day, I felt the turbulence. Initially, I ignored it thinking it's just maybe, a passing ship. These humans have no terror for the waters. They traverse the cast seas as if they own them. 

Many a times, I have considered showing myself to them and see if they can stand me. That's the reason why I created the black hole where they always disappear. I heard they named it the Bermuda triangle. Even if they fly over it with their noisy planes, they still get sucked in. Disappear without a trace. I thought that would at least instil fear in them and make them stop snooping aroun,d but no they don't. 

This black hole is close to my home. When they get sucked in, we eventually transform them to mere people. They become mermaids and merman. Over the years, my subjects have increased greatly. I try to stay out of their business but they love poking their noses into others business. T
