He sighs and continues rocking the sobbing Summer in his arms. A light bulb lights up in my head. Of course, he knew. This damned god of trickery! Hermes must have found out earlier about this gift of Tania's but kept it secret! As her mate, he should have prepared her.
I get up from my seat and take two strides towards them. I slap him hard on the face and he is startled.
