"Why are you so... lost?" Wallace voice hacked into my thought once again.

"Well it is..." I paused and sighed. "It's unrealistic to think that your alpha will come check me up and care enough to cover me for the cold with his own coat. That just don't add up." I spat clutching my fist.

"Well Lowell isn't as bad as he seems. You may not believe it but..."

"Not may! I don't believe that." I cut him off rudely.

In that moment, my memory flashed back to that very day at the forest. The day I tried escaping. That wolf that saved me. I'd also mistaken the wolf for Wallace not until Lowell had to fight with my brother and he shifted into a similar wolf but to be more sure, I asked.

" Wait... that wolf at the forest...who was it?"

I guess I didn't have to elaborate before he understood and remembered.

"Lowell."

"But Why didn't you tell me?" That wasn't what I intend to ask but it came first.
