Angelic power

Amon looked thoughtfully at a broken picture. It showed angels fighting devils. One of the many pictures that hung in the mausoleum. Amon kept thinking of Louis. Godric was right. Louis had trusted him, so Amon gave him a home, new knowledge and much more. Amon received protection and affection, even reciprocated. But now everything was gone. The contract was broken. Amon's soul, sealed in the angel statue for all those centuries since he stayed with Louis as promised, was set free and would soon go to heaven. The statue, the anchor point, was destroyed.
