Dalia’s POV

Yesterday’s night.

I smiled warmly at the children who huddled closer just to hear my story. They were innocent, so innocent. I blame their parents for letting them in on their abused emotions.

However they tried to hide it, it gave way into the lives of the children, hence turning them into something unbearable. I can’t say if they were pretending to like me but one thing I know for sure is that they all need help.

I gave a playful glare to Freda who thought it was best to drop the scoop on the rug. It might leave a stain.

“How many times have you been here?” I asked the triplets. They shrugged and Avery spoke for the group. He gave a toothy grin.

“Almost no time. Grandparents hardly visit us so we come here whenever there is a family meeting. It’s kind of a big deal so we hardly miss it.”
