23 An Encounter

I watched Jasper leave with Maxwell and my father, and I wished them the best. There was a time I wouldn't be bothered about his trip, but after his display at Derbyshire, I was bound to be worried. I wasn't sure anyone would be crazy enough to go after him if something happens and he bolts. I was really a mad woman, and I had resigned to die trying. No one loved him enough to do that for him. I prayed that whatever he went to do would not be stressful, and he would not have to fight anyone.

Noelle decided to ask me to give her quilting classes. Brian had allocated a room in the mansion for her, and it was equipped with everything she needed. I love quilting because it gives me some form of peace. Teaching the women in the pack was going to be fun.

I was amazed that the women had loosened up a bit and were more respectful than they were initially. I do not know what had happened, but I guess the staff I sacked had let them know the consequences of disrespecting me. It wasn't

Sorry that this is just one chapter. I edit and re-write my chapters more than two times before releasing them to ensure the story is flowing. This is a crucial part of the story, so I do not want to rush It. Currently working on the next chapter, but I need to go to bed now. I will finish it up tomorrow and release it. Thank you.
