43 Now They Need Our Help

I could not believe the council came to ask for my help. I sat on my chair and stared at the four people the council sent to me, trying to determine my response to their request.

I leaned forward and looked at Brenda.

"Mr Paul Willis and Janet Olsen came here from the council three weeks ago and said that the ace wolves were my problem and that the council would not step in unless it becomes a general problem," I said and leaned back in my chair while rubbing Ruby's back.

"I am sorry he came across as offensive, but we have a policy that unless four or more packs have the same issue, we are not to step in," Brenda explained, and I smiled at her.

"Very well then, I no longer have the same issues as I did three weeks ago. Mr Willis gave me the sense to be resourceful, and I have resolved the matter. The council can feel free to step in for the rest of the pack," I said to her, and her eyes widened.
