58 An Ultimatum

Everyone living far away from Brooksbridge arrived a day before the meeting. Among them were council members, Alphas and hunters. It was clear it would be a big deal. None of us cared about this meeting. It was being forced. We had issues. Our mates were missing, and their captors were yet to reach out to us. We did not know if they were alive or dead. The suspense was going to make me go mad. It took a lot to keep my emotions in check and my sanity. I was angry.

Randolph had started blaming himself, saying he shouldn't have let Reacheal leave, but how could he have known that something like this was going to happen? The complex had always been safe. He wouldn't have let her leave if he knew she wasn't safe. He wasn't an Ace wolf. He was expected to view himself as less threatening to the intruders. This was genuinely my fault.
