The house felt a bit empty when our guests left, and honestly, the distance became clear to me, but this was what was best for Jasper and I. We were starting a family now. We did not need bad energy. Not wanting to feel lonely, I decided to go to Japer's workshop and see what I could help him out with. Getting there, I saw him shirtless, working on a plank of wood. I could not take my eyes off the muscles on his back. I knew I was drooling, but I couldn't help it. He had a noise protector around his ears, so I hoped he wouldn't hear me. I snuck behind him and hugged him from behind, using my hands to feel his body. He turned off the machine and touched my hands gently.

"Ruby," he said in his deep voice and turned to look at me. He took off his goggles and bent to kiss me. Placing his hands on my belly, he looked at me and smiled.

"You should be resting right now," he said, and I shook my head.

same... as well as the taxes part. Jasper was told when they got there and then again after. I think these last few chapters are kind of repetitive with different responses
