Chapter 18: Carina's Threat

The time on my watch showed almost six. Cassandra had left like an hour ago. I guessed she probably had arrived home by now. I had no intention to stop working yet, probably going to stay in the office until midnight.

My phone which was in silent mode kept vibrating since morning, receiving calls from Carina. I avoided answering any of those calls because I didn't have the mood to argue with Carina right now.
