Rodrigo's POV

When I saw Marcello dragging Jennifer away from the hall, I wanted to chase after them. However, the beautiful woman coming down the stairs caught everyone's attention, her gaze not parting from me. It felt as though she was calling out to me to be her escort and I wanted that as out, For the first time in a long while, I felt my heart skip.

Many have always assumed that I had no heart and, to be honest, I thought as much as well until I watched her dance. That day changed everything for me.
