Seventeen.

Isabella grunted in frustration as she took another look at her account balance. With the way her money was fast going low, she wasn't so sure that she would have enough to even take care of her hospital bill, not to talk about caring for her baby and herself.

Before she could do anything to stop the tears, they fell freely, staining her cheeks with the multiple lines they formed. How has everything come to this for her? She thought as she buried her face in her lap and continued with her cry.

She thought that she had everything mapped out perfectly for her and her baby. She thought she had enough savings to last them for three months after her birth. By then, she would be fit enough to start working again. All she had to do was either employ a babysitter for her child or drop the child in a nursery home while she went out to work.

Now, all of those were gone. And why was that? Because some self-entitled man decided to pop up and claim that the child she was carrying belonged to him.
