" You're joking Sir," I said as I got up from the bed needing space away from him so I could think.

" Do I look like a man who jokes?" He asked me as he watched me.

" Why would you want me to be your girlfriend? What would people say? They'd think I seduced you," I said as I ran my hand through my hair in confusion.

" Are you really worried about what people would say or you're not over your ex?" He asked me and I slowly turned to him, I didn't like that question one bit.
