We went back to Eden’s pack just like the old woman had said.

Quinn was the one who woke me up the next day so we could go to her house. I had decided to take a nap afer the old woman left.

“ Why didn’t you wake me up earlier? It’s the middle of the day.”

As soon as I stepped into the sun, the harshness of the sun’rs rays hit me, causing me to make a sharp U-turn back to the house.

“What’s wrong? Are you okay?”

“When I sleep too much, I get bad headaches.”

I went back into the house to take a shower to cool my head. I had been under a lot of stress and I was barely eating and resting. This wasn’t even the right time for me to be falling sick.

After making sure that I had eaten and that headache was gone, Quinn finally let me come out of my room.

“If I didn’t know any better, I'd think my mum left the city and came back here and stole your body just so she can take care of me. “
