Roman was the first to get down from the car. Jump down actually and I ran behind him into the house. The door was locked and Quinn was already there, knocking loudly.

“Nelly, open up.”

I pushed past both of them and tried to see inside.

“Is she in there? Belle baby, hang in there. Mummy is here!"

“Mummy?!" I heard her voice though it was faint “Ow!”

“Sit down!"

I could hear her crying inside.

“Roman, do something. She's going to hurt my baby.” I pleaded with him.

Roman held me though his eyes were on the door. He looked at Quinn and nodded his head. I didn't know what that meant but Quinn kicked the door open and I ran in.

Nelly was on the couch with Belle in her arms. She had Belle by the throat and angled a knife towards her vein.

“If you come close, I'll kill her. I'll rip her throat open without hesitation. Just stay away from me.”

I held Roman back because I could see he didn't have the patience to stand around with her. But i would rather do what she wanted so that my baby
