Getting Better

The woman was still unmoved in front of Justin. While Justin himself did not understand why this woman was silent. The next second Justin asked again.

"You hear me?"

"Yeah, you think I'm deaf?" she replied curtly, suddenly Justin immediately put on a flat face.

"You've been silent since then, so I asked," said Justin.

"I am old, senile. I know who you are looking for, but I forgot when I last saw her."

Justin sighed heavily, still nurturing hope for Karina's safety.

"Oh, I saw her in front of the apartment, with the one who owns this unit," she said later. Justin who heard that was certainly very relieved and his eyes sparkled, his lips curved into a smile.

"Thank you, mam!" Justin ran downstairs and looked for Karina.

"Karina, you're okay, right?" he muttered running down the emergency stairs, past the bewildered crowd. Right at the main door, Justin stood, his two eyes staring at the two people across the street, Karina and Norman.
