Sienna groaned the moment she opened her eyes the next morning. Lucas was insatiable and had kept her awake till late at night, making her sore all over. She just couldn’t get up, wincing at the pain between her legs. Glancing beside her, she noticed that Lucas’s side was empty. He might have woken up much earlier as his side of the bed wasn't warm at all. Sienna hobbled somehow to the washroom to freshen up. Afterward, she came back to the bedroom to see Lucas walking inside the room with a tray of piping hot food. He frowned seeing her condition and kept the tray down on a table nearby.
“You should have called me for help, love,” he said tenderly, rushing towards her. He caught her by the shoulders and gently led her towards the bed. Sienna was bowled over by the nickname he used. It had her mind going into overdrive. Did she hear it correctly? Did he call her ‘love'?&
