I couldn’t believe it. I kept looking at my head and looking back at Julia who was staring at me with an ‘I told you so’ expression. It wasn’t me. I didn’t feel anything. If I was the one that did, I should have felt something. How would I be a healer and not know?

I finally said after a long moment of just staring at my hand. Julia shook her head.

“It is you. Harlyn. You are gifted. You are a rare wolf and a special kind. There aren’t many healers in packs around the world. Wow. I never thought I would meet a young healer,”

Julia said in awe. I shook my head still because it just didn’t make any sense to me. Why didn’t I know this? Why haven’t I been able to heal anyone before?

“You don’t understand, it can’t be me. maybe you really have fast healing powers. I am not gifted in any way. Why would I be a healer without knowing? Without a wolf who can surface?”
