Jessica could tell right away from the voice that it was Dawson. The old man was rather worried about Jessica. He had his fair share of media gossip back in the day. Then everything was not as digitalized as this but word still got out. Dawson knew that Xavier and Jessica barely knew each other but he went along because he thought that perhaps his grandson may find love in the hands of a stranger. Upon spending time with her knew he knew she was a pure soul. He was old but still an excellent judge of character. "Hello Dawson," Jessica said. "I'm so glad you recognized my voice," Dawson said. He had decided to call her because he knew his son was not the best at handling any situation like this. He had grown a thick skin to the media after what they did after his parents died. Xavier walked away and came back shortly holding the spare key. It was a good thing that the master key was kept as the spare key so even if she had left the hey at the mouth of the keyhole he could still get in. He pushed the key in and opened up the door. "Put it there," Xavier said moving from the doorway and pointing to the table at the corner of the room. The girl dropped it off and glanced at the young lady she was relieved when she saw that she was doing quite well. She bowed and left in a hurry. Xavier entered the walk-in closet and changed his clothes to his pajamas before coming back out. Jessica watched him in awe as he went about his nightly routine. Both Xavier and Jessica enter the car and the driver goes away. Xavier had hammered that Jessica should wear something exotic but she still went with her plain tee and skinny jeans. She was a simple girl like that. Her wardrobe barely spoke classy not to talk of exotic. Xavier made a mental note to call famous stylists and designers to change her entire wardrobe after the whole mess settles down. She would have to be his date to many events from now on so she should dress the part even if she can't be the part. She was after all now the Lady of the Delgado family. The door to the elevator opens on the twenty-fourth floor. After Xavier had a moment of staring deep into Jessica's eyes he let go of her hand and the rest of the elevator ride was awkward. Since the VIP ward was quite private and quiet, Xavier could step out of the elevator without worrying about the blogs and tabloid owners. There was no way that they would be here. Jessica followed behind him as he took long strides. He pushed open the door to his grandfather's ward. "Just a minute Mr. Delgado, I am checking his vitals can you wait outside?" a nurse said as soon as Xavier stood in the doorway. He nodded and turned around which made him jump directly into Jessica.
