The last thing she remembered was moving into the guest room, but she wasn’t sure when that was. Anais knew it had been bad by Atlas’ haggard face and the worry and relief in his scent.Though she could tell that Atlas was beside herself, Anais was shocked to hear that Atlas was sorry about his behavior and when Atlas told her that he loved her she thought her heart would stop. She realized she must have fallen asleep. She stretched slightly and huffed a laugh as she remembered another time she woke up disoriented in this position.She turned slightly and glanced over her shoulder to see Atlas awake and smiling. “Something funny?” She asked.Anais shuffled and Atlas loosened his arms enough for Anais to roll over to face him. “Just remembering the first time I woke up like this,” She said. Atlas smiled back.“I remember it was a bit of a shock,” he replied drily.“Just slightly,” Anais laughed. “How long was I out?”“About forty-five minutes,” Atlas told her. “Not too long, but you need to rest, so I wanted to let you sleep.”Anais nuzzled further into Atlas’ embrace. “Thanks Atlas,” She mumbled. “Are we going to go to the store?”“If you want to, Anais.
