The morning sun streamed through the curtains, casting a warm glow on Nelson and Valerie as they woke up in each other's arms. Their hearts were filled with a renewed sense of love and commitment, and they couldn't help but smile at each other.

Kyle spoke up first. "Mom, Dad, something feels different. Did something change between you two?"

Nelson and Valerie exchanged a knowing glance before Valerie replied, "Yes, sweetheart, something has changed. Your dad and I have become good friends again, and we're going to try to behave like any other mom and dad."

Kelly's face lit up with excitement. "So, you mean you're back together?"

Nelson nodded, his eyes filled with love for his children. "Yes, my sweet girl, we are back together. We've realized how much we mean t
