Valeria woke up with a mild pain in her head, she looked around, trying to decipher where she was, and she sat upright.

She wondered how she ended up in the hospital.

“Easy, ma'am.”

She saw a man in a white coat and presumed to be a Doctor, the last thing she remembered before she passed out was grabbing a man by his leg till the police arrived.

“How did I get here?” She inquired.

“You’ll be told soon, ma’am.” The doctor said with a smile on his face, then he left the room.

Soon, a policewoman entered, giving her a big smile.

“How are you feeling now ma’am.” She asked.

The mild pain was already subsiding. “Much better.”

“Very good, thank you for catching the thief.”

“Where is he?”

“He's where he's supposed to be, don't worry.”

“When you fainted, we brought you down here, you should be more careful ma’am, he could have hurt you.”

The rejection she faced at Nelson’s place was more painful, she grinned weakly.

“I did what came to my mind.”
