With her food in hand, Marina exhaled sharply taking hold of her self-confidence wherever it was she had dropped it and walked out of the kitchen.

"Amira told me you could get bitchy but I didn't know that it would get to this point of you being a total scoundrel." These ladies—she was certain, almost too certain—would be the death of her.

Adding some ketchup to the pasta on her plate, Marina rolled it up with the cutleries and began devouring her food silently as she sipped on a glass of juice in between.

"Are you going to pretend that you didn't hear?" Summer's voice was playing its drum beat in Marina's ear and she was swooning all over the table trying to get Marina to say something.

"Doing that had better make her feel better because if it didn't, then her attitude would be a total waste of time," Marina muttered but it was loud enough for them to head.
