Chapter 37: Betrayed By Him

I'm begging for this to be a lie. He can't do this to me. I slam my fist to my chest, feeling choked as the tears roll down my cheeks. I raise my head to the ceiling. It's crazy how I've formed a bond with a child I've not even met. A child I should not even want.
